Smithville Inn RestaurantThere is something about the Smithville Inn that makes it totally unique, romantic, and relaxing - and that’s because it’s located in the Village of Smithville, which is in another world by itself. It’s close to Atlantic City, but a thousand miles
removed from the lights, action, and the glitz. A visit to Smithville is enjoying a piece of America that too many have missed, and a memorable lunch or dinner at this classic restaurant is an important part of the experience.

They call it "sophisticated comfort food in a warm environment" and that’s what one would expect in a restaurant that opened in 1787. Of course, significant changes have been made including a definitely more modern kitchen, but the colonial spirit (and fireplaces) are alive and well and the food and the hospitality will be the highlight of your visit.

Chef Smith has done his part to honor the history with a menu that includes the likes of Colonial Meatloaf; Original Smithville Pot Pie; Smithville’s Famous Crab Cake; and in honor of the original owner, the James Baremore Pork Chop Platter. There’s a lot more to the menu including great wraps, Panini sandwiches and burgers. Their classic Sunday Brunch is an experience not to be missed.

Fresh sushi-grade tuna, rubbed with a blend of Oriental spices, pan seared and thinly sliced, served on a bed of seaweed salad, complimented with fresh ginger and wasabi.

Entrees:
ORIGINAL SMITHVILLE POT PIE
Their famous recipe. A hearty filling of chicken, vegetables and dumplings, covered with their own baker?s flaky crust.

FILET PORTO
A 9 oz. center cut filet mignon, lightly seasoned with Montreal Steak Seasoning, grilled atop hickory smoked wood, served on a Portabella mushroom and topped with caramelized Valencia onions and button mushrooms, simmered in a Portofino wine reduction.
