"Designer martinis, twenty wines by the glass, and a serious selection of draft beers levitate a lively bar scene, the atmosphere stylish. Perfectly in tune with all this is the left side of the dinner menu, with a dozen "small plates" and four "solo pizzas." It is here that Cork’s eclecticism comes out strutting." --New Jersey Monthly
Kevin and Janet Meeker have proven themselves as notable restaurant professionals for years. They actually introduced authentic Mexican cuisine (Los Amigos) in the early 1980’s when Old City in Philadelphia was not exactly the Old City of today. Of course, Mexican cuisine has exploded with Mexican restaurants on almost every corner. Years later, they had another vision of creating a casual (but serious) spot in South Jersey close to where they live. The restaurant was named Cork in honor of their devotion to the world of wine. One thing was an absolute necessity: Cork needed a talented chef, and as history has proven, they found one in Chef Sae An. And as history has also proven, his food keeps the folks coming back. The Restaurant School graduate has delivered an enticing seasonal menu that stresses fresh ingredients and combines American and Asian cuisine with small plates and large plates. Cork has emerged as one of the most popular restaurants in the Delaware Valley and it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a selection of small plates, a great steak, creative seafood entrees or perhaps a solo pizza. A classic bar certainly helps, and Cork continues to deliver with sakes and wines from around the world, and fifteen unique beer selections on tap, including a heavy Belgian influence. Cork has truly given South Jersey a bar and a kitchen that rivals the best of Philadelphia and beyond. | Particulars Price Range:$30 and under Credit Cards:American Express, Visa, MasterCard Parking:on premise Dress Code:
